When did you know what career you wanted to persue it. Cause I am going to be a author (working on my 5 book right now) and I wanted to know like what all do you need to be able to do that? I know you can work on it at any age, because I have already started some of you may know me on BWboard or Simply Ciara as Delicious Princess, and I have a play on Ewonline as ShortyLikeMiny.

I am studying the "The Catcher in The Rye" in F5. American-ish students seems to love it. I hate that novel. I can accept the fact that it is a book, but the language does not make me want to read it. Full of unreasonable bad language just to please teen agers of America.

Honestly. Most of the people that I talk to(except the ones that would be in Slytherin) think that all Slytherins are evil and that they are bad people. When you listen to the Sorting Hat's song, no where does it say "Slytherin's are Evil." We are given a small view of Slytherins. We only really interact with a small portion that are intentionally cruel to Harry. Other than that, you'll notice that the Slytherin's leave harry alone as much as any other house.
The attributes of Slytherin are sly, cunning, ambitious, and willful. That doesn't mean evil. I will admit that those attributes lead to "evilness" more than those of the other houses, but you can't say that only Slytherin's become evil, look at Pettigrew!
So basically, I want to know why people think that just because I would be a Slytherin I would be evil?
Note:I *would* be a Slytherin if I were at Hogwarts, as would many of my friends, and we're anything but evil, we're more along the lines of weird and crazy...

I have gotten a lot of negative GW Bush stuff but how will Jimmie Carter be remembered? Please, you have to be old enough to remember. If you are under 45, you cannot answer.

I asked a similar question but am looking for a legend almost beyond human living person that will be looked upon with awe 500 years from now. Must be American and could cover any field. Someone that will be known 500 years from now.
