I need some background information on these books to have a better feel as to what these books are about before I start reading. Like theme, inner meanings, perspective, etc.

It was about a boy who could transform into different animals. When he transformed, it would show just the outline of his body begin to change shape, in steps, until he turned into that animal. I hope I explained that clearly enough.

I used to have several Rupert the Bear books, one of which contained a story about how Rupert met some elves. At the end of the story was instructions on how to make a folded paper lantern. If someone knows what I'm talking about could you please give me these instructions?

It's called 'Drowning.' Any comments would be appreciated, thanks. Esp constructive ones.

We watched from the edge of the water,
And when it got too deep, we swam.
Marble waves tossed us, fragile,
But still we could not waver, not look away for a second.
Set in the concrete spell of it all.
Yellows turned to reds turned to blues.
Soon blackness was a second eyelid to us both.
Scooping over the once distinct waters.
I said, maybe, mate, maybe we should get back.
But the inky waves did not answer me.
I clawed to shore, and
it was suddenly thick as scrambled eggs,
handfuls of sea slipping and sloshing,
filling up my clothes, heavy.
Far off, you screamed something.

Something important.

I was young and
I couldn’t find you in the layers of black.
I wasn’t to know and
I did not understand that time mattered.

And the moon was still up there, watching us.

Imagine that Victor Frankenstein has decided to write a letter to Elizabeth or his father describes his thoughts about what he has done and how he ultimately is responsible for all the melancholy in the family.

Can you guys give me some idea of what to write.

Every Harlequin Blaze Book ever published? The very first one I read and loved, and would love to read it again, but I can't remember the title or the author!

All I remember was that it was about 'Don Juan.' There was a masquerade ball in a ball room...they left, walked through the woods...there was a cabin..

I think the series was balled "Bachelors of Bear Creek" or something like that. Can anyone help me out?

Im not a big reader, but I love reading none the less...I have a hard time finding books that are worth the time. Ive read 1984, orwells masterpiece about a hundred times lol. and I enjoyed his Animal Farm too. Whats a good book that really sparks some intellectual flames? Something that makes you sit down and think. Thats something that we as a society take for granted. The Count of Monte Cristo was good too...but the movie ruined that one for me.
Thanks

Ok so J.K. Rowling has announced that two "main" characters will die at the end of book 7 and "one will get a reprieve." who will die and who will live?

I Think that Percy Weasley will come back to the good side and get killed and I also believe that Ginny might die. I think Draco Malfoy will get the reprieve not snape. Just my theory. I also believe Neville Longbottom has a big role to play before the end.

I need to get a legitimate CRITIC's reviews on the BOOK "Once Is Not Enough" by Jacqueline Susann. It cannot be a customer's or for the movie. Amazon has two short ones that are on the back of the book cover. I found really good ones for "Valley of the Dolls" but cannot seem to find any for this one. I've tried Barnes and Noble (couldn't find any besides customer), Amazon, NoveList... and even in search engines but nothing seems to pop up. The book was pubished in 1973, re-realeased in 1998 but all I can seem to find is reviews for Valley of the Dolls or The Love Machine. My last resort is an article on "Once Is Not Enough" but I can't even find that.

So could anyone PLEASE tell me where I can find legitimate BOOK reviews or articles that are not from a customer???

Thank you!!
