he uses it to go to the restricted section of the hogwarts library to find a book with something that metions the mysterious sorcerers stone. he also uses it to visit the mirror that reflects whatever you really want. Oh and he uses it to bring hagrids dragon up to the astronomy tower to be picked up by rons older, tdragon training bro. i think. When harry and the gang are heading down towards the end of the book, they use the cloak to get to fluffy..i think

in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone he uses it to get into the restricted section of the library it was also used at the end of the book to get to the room fluffy was guarding
