Do you have a favorite author? What book have you read that you would recommend avoiding because you were disappointed? Have you ever had a book make you angry (I was FURIOUS when I read Stepford Wives).

See, I love writing stories because I have an imagination that just won't stop producing ideas for stories. I'd really like to write and actually finish writing it. I have a problem with taking to long and editing in the process of outlining. As I'm writing the sorty/outlining I just keep adding details and then the plot changes in my mind.
Does anyone have advice on outlining and writing a teen novel?

It's in the form of a letter from Dill to his mother about Scout. I have things like confident, obedient, curious and tomboy. Physical characteristics would be nice too.

I am in the process of writing a juvenile fiction book. I would like to find a publisher, but really do not know where to start. There are so many websites and places on the internet, it is hard to know what are legitimate and what are not. I would like to find a publisher that I can be in regular contact with and not just communicating through impersonal emails.

The first time you heard the story of Beowulf, how did you picture Grendel?
I pictured him as a dragon type creature, but just watched the movie Beowulf and Grendel and they have him being a troll.
What was your perception of Grendel??

I was wondering, what would a father call his four year old son, nickname wise? I just need an idea and I'm talking about a loving father who loves his family.
