I’m a little confused about what happens here. How did Harry be in two places at once before he used the time-turner ? Was is something metaphorical ?

I really enjoy Shakespeare. I was introduced to his work in high school and now that I'm out I still read it for fun. Yeah I know it's geeky but I don't care. I think his plays are really funny and/or entertaining. It's really easy to understand if you listen to the expression/tone of the lines being read on a recorded tape, or you have a side-by-side translation in a book, then you look back on the original text, and you're like "oh yeah that makes sense now."

I don't nor have I ever read any other of King's books, watched the movies.. and I got "the eyes" by mistake and loved it, have tried others but could never get into them., and asked about the rest of the story whan i was given a messed up book. the cover and title page was gone .. I read about two pages before I had to go and have never found it after that.. so when I found a copy of the eyes at a flea market i got it.. now what I read in the messed up book was more or less a catch up from the eyes.. and have asked others who are really in to his books and they also remember reading that book.. but none seem to remember what it was called..after asking about it here a lot of people said that I may be thinking of the dark tower books.. but I've got thou a few and nothing and have asked just today and was told that it was not those books that flagg was in a few but that there was another book that picked up where Eyes left off..could he have writen the 2nd book under another name??

I'm just curious to know your feelings about Poetry. I'd like to know what the readers of Poetry want to see more of and what they would like to see less of.

I prefer darker books, not bloody gorey dark but, you know they have that dark element. I also like a romantic element, it doesn't have to be the main focus but, if it's in there I'd like it. I would also like it if said book, had slight fanstasy element (e.g. paranormal, vampires, world going to end... stuff like that) not a complete fantasy book.

If you can think of a book for me, even if it doesn't fit my critera, as long as it's good I don't care...

Greetings. I'm doing some research and am seeking to find an online, downloadable version of Julius Caesar’s The Conquest of Gaul. I've checked the standard sources, but no luck.

Additionally, I am seeking other online versions of different books from the same general time period (Diodorus Siculus’ Histories ca 8 b.c., etc). Anyone know of any resource sites out there?

Many thanks for the assistance!

I was just wondering if there were other people like me out there. If a question is asked about Harry Potter, I have to find the answer ASAP. I pull the books out and am not happy until I get the answer, including page number. I can't choose a favorite character because I feel that would limit me. Do I need help or am I normal?

If you could recommend any book, what would it be? I love sappy love, romantic stories and edgy different books. My favorite would have to be all of Ned Vizzini's books, The Remembered Kiss by Susan Brown and Teach Me by RA Nelson. Please tell me about cute love stories with meanings.

Every time I see your smiling face, my heart soars away. You are all I think about, write about, and dream about. You are constantly in my thoughts, and I hope I’m in yours. I wish you knew how much I care about you, how much I love you, how much I want to be with you, and I wish you felt the same about me. Every time I hear your voice, I feel as happy as can be. One smile from you can melt my soul. When we are apart, I feel as if something is missing, as if all of me isn’t there. When I see you, I can’t help but just stare. I might write your name on all of my books, hoping someday we would be 2gether 4ever.

Love,
Your Secret Admirer

I'm looking for these kinds of books....

Classics like To Kill a Mockingbird and The Great Gatsby
Books with dark themes like 1984 and Lord of the Flies

...which is basically all the books you read in high school. Are there any good ones I should read?

I'm reading it now. Did you like it? Did you hate it? PLEASE DO NOT RUIN IT FOR ME! Do not tell me how it ends. Give me your opinion on it and if it doesn't reveal anything about the book, and support why.

Am I Crazy?

Some say I'm psycho
some say I'm weird
It's like I'm a different person
and the old me just disappeared.

My heart is empty and
my soul torn apart
Lying there wondering,
Where I went wrong.

Calling out for you
Hoping to fix
What came un-glued?
Only to find no answer
Or what I could do.

My wounds run deep inside
there's blood all over the place
I think I've really lost it this time
I am ashamed to show my face
