I loved Cute is a Four Letter Word by Stella Pevsner(sp?), I've Got Your Number by Dian Regan, any Elizabeth Gail books by Hilda Stahl, and any books by Ellen Conford or Lois Lowry. Anyone read this or can recommend some good ones that don't have sex or violence?

My ex-boyfriend wrote a short story about me, which he said was published. He will not let me see it or give me the title. He teases me about how easy it is to find but I am still out of luck. Any tips on how to go about finding a compilation would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have a friend who recommended it to me, but he said he couldn't remember what it was about. I don't understand how you can love a book and not rememeber it!

Also, does anyone else like this book? What age group is it for?

the book is about two china dolls, one older and not as pretty as the other, and at least one of them has an unusual name. I think it takes place during the Victorian period.

I don't have a college degree or anything like that but I do want to start writing a book along the lines of interracial prejudice within the Black community. I was just hoping that someone could (seriously) tell me how to start writing a book that I could possibly have published.

This is incredibly vague, however I remember reading a really good book (think it was part of a series), I think it was a crime book, and the only real thing I remember about it is that the main character had an Abyssian cat called Nigel. If anyone can tell me what the books are called and the author, that would be awesome! Desperate to know! Cheers

I need a new book.....The last books I have read were:
A Child Called It (whole series), Emma And Me, Lovely Bones and But Inside I am Screaming........
These are all great books by the way....if you like to cry and get totally lost in a sad book they are great!!!
I am not into romance novels or mysteries......I dont like Koontz or Kings latest (older King stuff was great...now hes a bit long winded).....I like heart wrenching sad stories of real life people......or scarey books about psycopathic killers....I like to be either scared or heart felt sad with books.........I love the feeling of getting lost in a book......If you have any suggestions let me know......I would appreciate it.
