Anyone who reads young adult books (books for teens): What do you like about them? What do you dislike about them? Does anyone think there are too many A-List type books out there (books that focus mostly on the characters' social lives, etc.) and not enough mystery/fantasy? If you were going to read a YA mystery/fantasy, what would you want as far as storyline goes? Just to make this question a little crazier, if you've read Harry Potter, what are your criticisms of it (I like the book- but if you have criticisms, that's what I'm interested in)?

She started reading the book she found in the basement that once belonged to her mom; Fairy had already fell in love with reading. It was like being in a whole knew world for her… if she was stressed, sad, angry, or confused she would just open her book and read. It would calm her down. She started feeling sleepy, so she looked for her bookmark, but she couldn’t find it, so she just kept her book open and set it upside down.

After a while she fell asleep. It was the end of the dream she had the other night. What? Where am I? All the creatures that she thought were screaming in the dream were actually cheering. She stared in amazement; there were so many odd creatures here. She looked around, it was all so beautiful, there was a beautiful big waterfall, grass as green as green could get, tulips and wild rose bushes blooming in the air, every food you could imagine growing on trees including candy, fruit, and… even chicken.

You can check out books for free from the library, so why not have an e-library?

Actually, I'm not 100% sure there are no online libraries. If you know of one, do tell.

Thanks for your time!

I am currently writing a book (on page 2) called "The Credit Card Diaries." It is about a girl who is filthy rich in the fashion industry, but hates it. Everyone likes her for her money, and nice people expect her to be a snob. Her older sister is a total brat, so she is supposed to be too. She is spoiled rotten and hates it. She has no choice but to hang out with little clones of her sister. Then her parents try to get her a modeling gig. She refuses and wishes that her family's fashion empire will crumble even though that is impossible. So they send her to live with middle-class friends. She is thankful for normalcy even though she still has 4 limitless credit cards in tow and her enormous designer closet with her. Everyone is out for her attention because she is rich, and she just wants to be accepted. Only one girl will be her actual friend, the daughter of the family she's staying with. So the rich girl decides to put the obssessive fans to use. She is going to break free and
