This comes entirely from people writing fanfics about him. They like the looks of the guy that plays him in the movies and think he would play a good sexy role in their own stories.

Oh-Kay...have those people been seeing a different version of the books than I have. The only ones that get good grades (that I can gather) from Snape are the Slytherins (and I'm sure about half of them are girls, but it's ALL Slytherins, not just the girls).
And the Hogwarts robes are hardly what I would call "revealing".
Snape a pervert? Not hardly. He's just a real jerk and you can't tell if he's on the side of good or bad.

I've never heard him called that either, it's definitely not in the books. As for fan fiction, I would say people are right, except for the fact that fanfiction snape doesn't give good grades to girls in revealing clothing -- he may be considered 'sexier' than the book snape, or more perverted, but not in the same manner. Fanfic snape tends to prefer smart girls, not pretty ones (not that the two are mutually exclusive, but hopefully you know whwat I mean), so he's not portrayed as ogling cute young girls the way your example question suggests.

I have read all of the Harry Potter books and I have never come to that conclusion about Snape. Maybe there was some subliminal messages in there that I didn't catch on to, but I can't say that I ever got that from the books. You should finish reading the books though, they are really good.

Read the books and you'll realize that whatever quizzes you are taking are by far wrong. Snape isn't a pervert so much as a mean snake. He prefers students from his house and gives points to them easily while taking points quickly from any other house.

Um that's total nonsense. I haven't heard anyone call the canon Snape a pervert (as opposed to the fan written fiction Snape) and if you read the books you'll see it's complete bullocks.

What? That's absurd, I've never heard of this... and I've read all the books.
The point is that Snape is a shifty, untrustworthy sort of character. There is no reference in any of the books or movies to him being a pervert.

the books don't say anything about him giving out good grades based on dress.
I've also not heard anyone call him a pervert.

I believe it's because he's a villain. It's like calling something you don't like "gay". Pervert, or perv has similar negative connotations.
