Why do the "popular kids" not like to read???

At my school all the popular kids think it is "uncool" if you like to read books. How does reading books make you seem geeky? Reading is a great way to spend your time. So why do they hate it so much?

It's Hard to be Mean?????

I am sooooooooooooooooooo excited for It's Hard to be Mean book 7 to come out!!!!!!! IT is coming out in March, any idea what day???????? I wish they would have put Dial "L" for Loser earlier in August!!!!!!!! Why the 23rd??????

MY brother has i and says he doesn't remember what its about but said he loved it. IS it good??? can somone give me a quik summary why or why not?? and whats is it about, i read the back but didnt undertstand it. I love fantasy so will i enjoy this?

Does anyone know this poem?

I used to know this poem by heart. It was in a childrens book years ago. It was about a picnic. The end was... we had a picnic we had fun. Now all we want is another one. I know it isn't much to go on but thought I would put it out there anyway. Never know. Thanks

He lye there

without a single word.

As the person, he cared about

look at him.

Tear fall down her eye.

She called your name,

not a single word.

She doesn’t want you to died.

Calling upon her inner strength,

laying her hand on your body

With her strength, her smile faded a little.

Cause she won't let him died,

sacrifice her life to save him

As tear fall on his face

rainy smile as she love you

leaning down she kiss you,

closing her eye, as the hairclip you gave her

felled out.

As bright wing spread from her

With her last word,

“she be with your spirit and mind.

Good bye..., for she gave her life

to save your.”

I feel a failiure... i read all the time when i'm not answering questions on this site?
