I'm writing a book, and I need the name of a pirate ship. I'm looking for something mysterious and interesting, preferably with the words "rock" or something similar, or perhaps, a precious stone. It can not have those characteristics, though. (These are mean pirates, by the way)

And please give serious and original answers.

Thanks, love ya!!

The German philosipher Friedrich Nietzsche once said that 'God is dead'. He also believed that this will lead to an objection of belief an an objective and universal moral law. Do you agree and why?

I've got myself a lovely old, Minolta SRT101 camera with the original Rokkor 55mm f1.7 lens attached to it. I'm basically just after some free advice about shooting at night with it. I've got a tripod and one of those release cables. But when it comes to the settings, I'm a little confused. I plan on using 400 ASA films, the widest aperture setting (which is f1.7 on this lens) and shutter speeds like 1/60, 1/30 and 1/15 of a second.

With all these settings in mind and in conjunction with a tripod and release cable, should my shots be really crisp and clear?

I should also point out that the photos I'll be taking will be of city lights, street lit scenes, car light trails etc. so no flash required.

Thanks, a complete novice.

Many think that without Gandhi India would have still been a colony. An idea which I completely disagree with. In India the education system has a vociferously pro-left bias. It only teaches one part of history while completely ignoring the other part. That is why many Indians have a completely distorted and innacurate understanding of their own history. Any textbooks that are remotely critical of Gandhi or of the mughal oppressors (who were responsible for the largest genocide in the entire history of human civilisation - the murder of 100 million hindus across the tenure of mughal oppression) are not even permitted.

The leftists have brainwashed Indians with the belief that it was Gandhi's mobilisation of public support that caused the UK to reliquish India. However the real reason was that the UK had just come out of WW2 and it's economy was in tatters. The entire city of London lay burning in ruins and the UK could no longer afford to keep India even if it had wanted to.

commit suicide. I get how that could be a debatable question but is it really the most difficult? I guess why he says that is because of thoughts like "what's so special about me, who am I to the world, I'm worthless, etc" and the idea that after death there's endless nothingness, so what's the point? and things like that questioning what is a life, questioning whether or not to END a LIFE. So is there? A more difficult question?

Also what is the most reasonable for price?

No, I am not misquoting Descartes, and I am not asking who DID say it. I'm asking who might have said it.... a philosopher perhaps, or maybe a religious/spiritual leader?

Hello, I have a friend who quotes 'animals are there to be used by humans', when asked why she feels this way - she says it says so in the bible.... does it REALLY? Considering we are 98 per cent the same DNA as a chimp, we are animal, animals can be human - surely we should respect all living things. Please help! I'm confused! Many thanks.

So since there are no questions about any of my favorite books to answer, I thought I'd ask one. Who/What are your favorite characters/couples/scenes etc. etc. etc. Just tell me anything you want to say about it!

My favorite character is Ron. And my second fav is Hermione.
My favorite scene is the destruction of the locket.
My favorite couple is Ron and Hermione. Hands down.

Ok so I need to write a 3-5 page paper and the topic that I ended up having to do is: We can't get anywhere in medical ethics unless we settle the question of what a person is.
I have 3 other papers due the same time as this one in different topics and the proffesor isn't in any mood to give us any spare time in spite of the fact that some of us also have other papers. So can anybody help me with this topic? Oh and I'd rather not see any answers like "stop being lazy and do the work already" thank you.

it is fiction but it has to be somewhat accurate. like it has to be about a group or something.

i was thinking about writing about the roundheads or the cavaliers but i honestly have no idea what kind of story line to write about.

please, any ideas are amazing.
