The Chorus Line?

Question

i want to aduction for the chorus line this monday.
are the songs hard to sing?
do you have to dance alot?

is it high pitch songs low pitch songs??what??

are the songs low key high key what?

Yes, it's a big dance show. Not all the songs are hard to sing, in fact some roles are considerd non-singing roles though you may sing from off stage or in chorus numbers anyhow. Kristine however can't sing (funny!). Check out the character descriptions here:

A Chorus Line is about....well...a chorus line...and as such...there is a lot of dancing and singing (that was a no brainer, btw.) There are several beautiful songs as well as some humorous numbers..."T & A" being one of them....How old are you anyway.....this may not be an appropriate audition number for you..lol.....you really need to check out the movie or listen to the sound track. Good luck. This is my all time favorite musical.

I love "A Chorus Line"! Its one of my favorite musicals. It has a lot of dancing, obviously, its about casting a chorus for a show...and yes, the songs are quite difficult I'd say. My favorite song from this show is called "Nothing". I use it for auditions sometimes. :) I just love it.
