I pick up the pieces.
We live in one world, yet two.
Never crossing paths.
9 o'clock. 10 o'clock. 11 o'clock. Midnight.
I can hear the silence.
No sun after your storm.

My mess. My fault.
You always pick up the pieces.

I know it doesnt rhyme, its abstract. But I wrote it after a fight with my best guy friend. Honestly, what do you think?

Im planning on writing a novel tell me what you think of it, would or wouldnt you read this. If you have any tips i would like to hear them.

Jason Yorke's parents recently died in an accident by a drunk driver. He is a trouble maker and is in a gang ever since they died. His aunt and uncle come to get him to live with them because that was their last wish. So with some trouble Jason moves from connecticut to colorado to leave his whole life behind. There he gets suspended from school so they send him to his grandpa's house on a farm and there his grandpa tells him about his parents fortune which they hide from any enemies...you'll find out why they have any in the book. His parents left clues at special/important places to his parents at relative's houses around the world and he has to find out the clues and find his fortune with werid/awful events that happen at his relatives house while he finds out the secert of his family.

We live in an industrial and "information" society where science and reason is the "supposed" basis for everything. (I put the " " there because people in American are you know,
but if you dont understand, i do.) Well, do you believe in supernatural forces? Luck? God? I do, but not because of faith or belief in religion. You may call weird or something, but i base this on my own experiences and science. Ever heard of string theory? Probability? Fundamental forces of the universe? Quantum physics? Dimensions and alternate realities? Most of what i mentioned are just theoretical but who knows. We've only done so much in the last 100 years...I alternate between pantheistism(god=universe=everything, which could explain stuff like luck, fate, and the choices we make. Someone is toying with my life. My luck was fantastic but now its horrible) and agnosticism(its all coincidence, all random. 1 in 100000.....)

I believe in purpose. Tell me if you are superstitious and why.

I am entering my senior year in high school. Iv realized that I want to pursue an acting career and I have gotten advice on what I should do to start, but now I need to know where that best place to go is. Why do the laws the universe / (or multi-verse) work they way they do? When I refer to "laws of the universe" I mean the way the universe actually works. I do not mean our understanding of how the universe actually works.

If you think that their is no reason for fundimental physical laws, then would there also be no reason for the fundimental laws of the universe to change? Why would they remain constant? or are they not constant? Isn't a law of the universe that the laws of the universe remain constant?

If you think that God created the universe and it's laws, there must have been laws outside of the universe that were used by God to create this universe and it's laws. Please apply the question to those laws outside of the universe.

If you think that God created himself, please provide scriptural backing.

"Memory"

It came like a theif in the night
And left with the breeze
It took away all that we had
And left behind an empty shell
A hollow dream and two broken hearts
Are all that we have to our name
A life of peace and togetherness
Is what it took away

And it seems we've grown apart
Though I don't know how or why
And now there's just a memory
Of the way things used to be

As I grew up you grew away
And no longer wanted a part of me
Either we worked too hard or not hard enough
Or maybe we were just left behind
Something out there took away our faith
We stopped believing in the American Dream
My life is right where it should be
Though I didn't get here the way I planned

And it seems the world has tuned me out
Though I don't know how or why
I wish there was more than a memeory
To remind me how it used to be
