Yes. I agree to a large extent. It's especially true with some negative emotions. It's really annoying when you really strongly dislike someone, but desire is strong. It makes me dislike that person even more. I wish they'd just leave me alone completely, but I can't avoid them. If you feel sad or depressed though, it does not inflame desire. If you feel really great, it might not inflame desire either for me. I like to just relax and savor the moment.

Since desire is an emotion, feelings of need for some sort of object or satisfaction, (WANT, usually referred to as sexual or sensual appetite but not always), I frankly can't understand the distinction here as to strong or weak emotions impacting the emotion of desire; that the emotion of desire would be either strong or weak? In other words, if the emotion of desire is weak, it is weak. If strong, it is strong. ???

In a normal person, emotions are usualy strong.
When desire/emotion is not accompanied by a little
self -control, that is when things get out of hand and people finish up in trouble.

Your nature as a person would effect this. It seems the "desire" part is a lot more common than the willingness to "go for it". Some people are very dynamic, they work hard and stay focused, and great results are acheived. Other people just stare out of the window. Man that's sad, sorry.

this solely depends on what your desire is, if it has been a lifelong desire then it will always be strong, if it just a short term goal then weak emotions can help it weaken

emotions are strong but i think desire might come from the mind where you can can try to suppress your emotions- example: not going our with my friends sister. but when both emotion and desire coincide, the act becomes that much stronger

Elfen lied is the 1st that includes recommendations for me, for the actuality of each and every of the saddness. 2nd might probable be Inuyasha. It made me experience an somewhat reliable emotion of love and tragedy. I became very close to to the characters, especially Inuyasha and Kikyo. and then third, Higurashi No Naka Koro Ni. I felt many stuff in this anime. Anger, harm, and in simple terms the adrenaline from the murdering.

No. It depends on the emotions, of which desire is one itself. The trick is always to be fully aware of your emotions. I don't think any of them are simply good or bad. They are merely human and we're all capable of all them, if we're honest (though many are not and are sanctimonious about it). But it's up to each of us what we do with them, for better or worse.
