try looking for songs which are already acoustic or theirs an acoustic version is all i can say
so yh just try looking for songs already done acousticly possibly James Blunt or James Morrison lol hope this helped

For the daddy daughter dance "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle is on my list, and also there's a country song "I Loved Her First" by Heartland, or "Wind Beneath my Wings" by Bette Midler. All three of those are on my list.

look at local music stores for the accoustic song books,i dont think your dad would really care what song you picked , just try to make it something slow or even ask your mom what songs he listens too an get one of those,
