I'm really interested in becoming a professional photographer. I would really like to go to school to learn about it. Regardless if people think I really don't need a degree. Learning about it would certainly help. Are there any schools in the Cleveland Ohio area that anyone knows about? I've tried searching on the internet but I couldn't find anything.

I want to start playing guitar again. I played a little bit during high school, but not enough to really get anywhere besides just messing around with friends. I started up again and now can play some bar chords and stuff. What are some good books for learning the keys and the different names of chords you are playing on the guitar?

ok, so, i am writing a book about a family with nine kids, and the mother is again pregnant. it's a rich family, and the dad isnt home all the time, you know?? so the kids arent the best of friends, and the oldest takes it the hardest and stuff, because every kid pushes her and her mother farther and farther apart. soooooo... at the end of the book, the mother is in the hospital giving birth, then dies, the end, any title ideas??

My second question is about opposites. I hear many people say that to have peace on must have war, cold - heat, etc.But I was wondering who defines opposites but ourselves. Arent opposites defined by our own limitation and what are opposites but two sides of the same coin. like cold a lesser form of heat. So who says opposites need each other? the universe we live in is a dynamic one, so opposites are understood through variations of intensity, like different levels of frequencys. So who can say there are two set of opposites that need each other to exist? who says that it is not more like a circle where there are no bounderies, we define the bounderies? I understand that to know cold one needs heat, but where does heat end and cold start?
good and bad, are they not the result of each other? if one has no good, one has no bad, so peace is a reaction of war, or rather peace is war made less intense? could the concept or abstract of good and bad be destroyed, and would that not be peace

Okay, so I recently got a part in a short play for a theatre camp I'm doing. We're doing 2 plays, and I got a nice part in one of them...but in the other, I got a part that has 2 lines, and neither of them are any good. How should I deal with getting a bad part? I don't want to be bitter and not have a good time, but I really don't like the part.

Does anyone have advice on how to get over the fact that I hate the part and just play the role the best I can?

My experience with women and dancing has been very negative. They prefer to just dance among themselves and become hostile towards any man who wants to dance with them, I fear they would be the same way at tango lessons.

I have also seen some of these dances performed on tv and noticed the men often wear tight clothing with their chests exposed! Do you have to wear that when taking tango lessons? I really don't want to.

I have written two different plays, and I would like to get them published. How would I go about that? One of my plays was performed at the Leid Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln NE, if that will help my chances.

I went to Borders last night and was amazed at all the books out that say "unauthorized" Harry Potter. They were actually books stating different peoples' views on what they thought was going to happen in the 7th book. Why would you pay that kind of money? We discuss it free on Yahoo and it's interesting to hear what other people think but I would never read a book on it.

Places are really going all out this time with parties at the book stores, games for the kids. They are even having a concert at our main library with Harry and the Potters (no, really) and all sorts of games and prizes.

I'm going to get my copy the next day and start to read it. I will not look on this site for anything to do with the book until I am done. What are you going to do?

So if (ok pre-Gettier) S knows P if and only if:
1. S believes/accepts P
2. Is justified in believing/accepting P
3. P is true
How does S know that he knows P? His only reasons for supposing that P is true is his justification. If that justification falls short of certainty then he may be justified in believing a false proposition. All theories of knowledge that look at justification (reliabalism etc) fall short of certainty. There appear to be two solutions:
1. Short of times when he is certain S cannot know that he knows P
2. S can know P even if it is false.

What do you reckon?
