My daughter found an old arrowhead in some recently turned dirt which had got around 4 feet down.
Are there any good sites that can tell the age of something like that?
The area is near a lake, in a very dry, desert/mountainous place.

I’ve been having a lot of hard time trying to get good composition ,partly because I never tried to learn, but I kind of began to understand the basics and the importance of following the guidelines(as it has ruined some of my pics partly) and I know sometimes I should brake the rules to make my photos a bit more artistic(as Picasso did) but im just posting some of this pics up to see if im improving at all, I tried to get them done as fast as I could so I can get used to naturally getting composition into place. I tried to do cross, rule of thirds, and the golden rule, I want to learn on simple objects first before I can start on the complexity of people…..

The majority of the acrylic paintings are 4ft x 4ft and the canvas was stretched by the artist on to wood frames. Some of the wood frames are warping. I need a storage method that can be used for long term (over a year) storage and is practical when dealing with at least 20 paintings. I also need a method that is not super expensive. In case it is important to storage: the paintings range in age from approximately 10-60 years old, but the vast majority are 10-30 years old. Thank you for your help!

A lot of people say that the area of present-day Israel was nearly deserted before the Zionist movement of the early 20th century. According to Wikipedia (not always the most accurate source, but I digress) the population in that area in 1890 was 520,000. Of those 520,000, there were approximately 20-25,000 Jews, or roughly 4.8% of the population.

To put this in perspective, Israel is approximately the size of New Jersey. The population density in 1890 would have been roughly equal to that of present-day Mississippi (would you say Mississippi is deserted?). The Jewish population (as a percentage) in Israel at that time was approximately the same as the Asian-American population in the US today. By 1917, the Jewish population made up 11%.

Are these statistics accurate? If so, from a secular perspective, wouldn't it have been smarter to make a Jewish homeland somewhere else (where there wasn't a history of conflict)?

I was wondering if anyone knew a couple of good books with human and animal friendships? I like those kinds of stories and I was wondering if anyone knew one that wasn't a children's book. I like drama, so if it's not one of those happy ever after tales, I'll be happy. Or, if not, then a friendship between the most unlikely people; or unlikely human and animal.
Thanks!

Let me know what you think about this idea. I feel as though many disney musical productions are holding back on the gothic/dark side. I play piano so I could write up some more songs, yet Danny elfman is the master of the entire thing.....hmmm....I wouldn't want him to sue me! LOL!
