Let me know what you think about this idea. I feel as though many disney musical productions are holding back on the gothic/dark side. I play piano so I could write up some more songs, yet Danny elfman is the master of the entire thing.....hmmm....I wouldn't want him to sue me! LOL!

I would be doign this just for the enjoyment and possibly have it performed at my house or at my play production class.

Wade Robson is a great choreographer and he is amazing so I would choose him to do it.

Yeah, it's a great idea. I'm sure your legal team (you do have one, don't you?) will think it's a great idea when they collect their fat fees after you get sued by Disney for violating their copyright.
Don't think it can happen? Talk to the myriad daycare centers Disney has sued for having paintings of their characters on the walls.
Better to come up with something original than to try to rip off someone else's creativity.

That would be incredible. Just be sure to lay off the cheese (clearly, since it is a gothic-type musical) and I think it would be fantastic! You could have sooo much fun creeping out the audience and really playing up the darkness of the whole production. Make it really intense. Oh I'm excited! I hope you can get this on Broadway or something, I want to see it!!

First of all, the rights alone would cost serious $$$, second of all if it's just for you and your friends you can do that without writing new songs, and third of all, if you think the rights to it cost a lot how much do you think Wade Robson goes for?

I can assure you, you aren't the first person to have this "original" idea, and you will not be the last. However, if anyone will do it, it would not be you, but Disney, since they have the rights.
Don't you think they know that they are sitting on a gold mine? Not to rain on your parade, but only Disney has the money, talent, and rights to make this happen.

hell no, that was a horrible movie. the only thing in that movie that i liked was the boogie monster, who was in it for all of 10 minutes. and the entire movie is a stupid skeleton saying what this? and being perplexed at why a Halloween version of Christmas isn't going to work. and on a financial note, about 80% of people who like that movie are emo teenagers who have 5 dollers to their name and would never be able to afford to see it so it would be a complete disaster.
