Art is human expression. It takes many different forms. It can be seen as beautiful or distasteful. So many people say things are not art because they do not see the emotion and feeling someone put into it. I do not believe this I believe anything that has been created by humans can be considered art

Once, I might have answered that art is something crafted out of human expression or created by natural occurrence that stirs emotions and invokes a response. Then, I picked up a classic book THE PRINCIPLES OF ART, by R.G. Collingwood. After reading this book, all I can say is that my original definition was very limited.

There is a beautifully article on art by L.Ron Hubbard, a researcher and humanitarian, who has looked in to this area and found quite some answers to that.
