Commentaries, criticisms are welcome...

'Take me home'

Where I won’t have to face
Pain, sorrow, anger;
Where I won’t need to taste
The tinge of depression, disappointment;
Where they won’t make me hold
Burdens that make my shoulders weak;
Take me home-
Where I can be free.

My soul is writhing-
Writhing to be let loose;
These trappings of woe hold me down-
Like the hanged man’s noose.

How I long to break free
From the hypnotic loop of temptation,
And go back home,
Where there is no want for destruction;
The abode with no hypocrites
Who throw knives at my back;
The place with no liars
Who turn red hearts black.

Take me home,
Where my soul will have no skin
To hold it in.
Take me home,
Where a smile can flourish
With no fear of being deleted
By tears.

Take me home,
Take me home,
Where solitude and peace
Eternal, can never be wrecked;
Remove these cuffs of worldliness
From my ankles and feet and neck;
God, take me home
To you again.

Of course not women do not fart. I have dated many women who claim that they have never farted. I also dated a girl for over three years and never once heard her break wind. So i guess my question is: Of course women fart, it's human nature, is it that they have a more defined Sphincter muscle that allows them to spew out only SBD's or is it that women overall have more Decency and seek shelter of a sound proof room to unearth a nasty belt screaching sound that could wake George Washington himself.

it doesn't rhyme.

title-mistake

All I ask of you
Is one simple thing.
It means so much,
And costs nothing.
It has saved nations,
And moved mountains.

It was wrong,
I know this.
I tried,
But not hard enough.
There are a million things
That I could have done,
So why did it have to be that one?

I have a history
Of happenings just like this.
I swear I'll be better,
I will, truly, this time.
One more chance?
I'm begging you,
Just this one thing.
Please?

I didn't mean to ruin the happiness,
It just happened.
The opportunity was right in front of me
And I, the fool, took it with all I was worth.
Why? Fear causes many things in life.
One more chance?
I'm begging you again?

Could you find the strength
To give me this?
Again?
I'll try harder,
I want to make this work.
You know that I do.
Just one more time?
I'm so sorry,
I was doing so well for a while.

All I ask of you
Is this:
Forgive me, please?
Please?
I'll do anything
Just for your forgivness.
Please?

Dana Leven glanced up from her notes to the young girl sitting quietly in the waiting room. Her name was Chloe Howard and her file read that she would be fifteen in three weeks. Dana contemplated this, the girl looked little older than ten or eleven. She was small and slight and had long strawberry blonde curls reaching all the way down her back.

Sensing she was being watched, Chloe looked up towards where Dana was standing. Her face was one of the most beautiful yet haunting things Dana had ever seen; her skin was ghostly pale almost translucent, with a light dusting of freckles over her porcelain doll features. But it was her harrowing silvery blue eyes that struck Dana most; seemingly staring right through her, they were over spilling with confusion and unanswered questions.

Realising the girl was waiting for her to say something, Dana shook herself out of her daydream, and gestured to her office,

“Would you like to come this way Chloe?”

The girl opened her mouth to answer but seemed to have trouble forming a reply. Dana smiled sympathetically and gestured again. Slowly, Chloe rose from the leather couch and walked towards the open door. The plaque read “Ms Dana Leven, Psychotherapist” Chloe let the word roll off her tongue like honey, her whole body began shaking uncontrollably, and erupted into huge sobs that made her tiny frame shudder. Screwing her fisted hands into her eyes, she watched the world around her turn slowly to black. Feeling the psychotherapists arms close firmly around her she cried out, hitting and screaming, until her whole body became drained of energy and she stopped fighting, letting herself be held.

“I, I didn’t do what they said I did” she stammered into Dana’s shoulder, “It wasn’t me. I didn’t kill anyone. It, it wasn’t me.”

I keep thinking about the invisibility cloak and feeling i'm missing something important. Anybody got any thoughts about these questions?
We know James left the coat with Dumbledore to pass on to Harry, but do we know what were the circumstances? I mean couldn't it have just as easily been left in the vault w/ the money?
Also, leaving it w/Dumbledore makes me think they knew they would not be there to pass it on.
I wonder if the cloak was left w/DD to have it not in the Potter's pocession. Could James have been using it to spy on Voldemont? Could someone been using it to spy on the Potters or the Order? Or, was someone there that fateful night hidden under the cloak, maybe Longbottom?

i went to Snappy Snaps the other day to get a picture enhanced and im not happy with it. its of a car that my dad use to own and i had this idea to get his only picture of the car enhanced because back in the days when pictures were enlarged they went blurry so i thought i would take it to a shop and get it made to look sharper and maybe enhance the color and tidy it up a bit for a gift for fathers day. but come wednesday (3 days after taking to the shop) my mum goes to pick up the picture and when i gets home to see it im quite shocked at how crap it looked. not only did they do the finish in gloss when i askd for matt the picture looked as if al they done was darken the contrast and make the color deeper but brighter. there was no sharpening of the picture at all. so ppl do you think i am entitled to a refund? if they could make the picture better then i would accept it but im not so sure they can do any better then they think they have done. this cost me £45 for this, im not happy!

Infinity is a mathematical notion, but physically very hard to accept. Imagine an infinite universe where all things exist infinitely, i.e. infinitely replicated. Imagine yourself replicated infinitely not only as you are now but as you ever were and ever will be. I understand this to be the ultimate implication of infinity and my mind can't handle it. Maybe it's OK as a notion, but not a reality. Is infinity possible, therefore, but not probable?

What bass amp do you recommend for me? I just play at small things with my band (drummer, guitarist/singer) like at talent shows and other small "gigs". What bass guitar amp do you recommend with great sound and at least 90 watts (unless you have a better i idea of how many watts I need, tell me) and cost at the most, $300.00? Thanks!
