Religious zealots hid behind God in order to justify their "murder of innocents."
And God had absolutely nothing to do with the slaughtering of innocents. He never gave permission nor did He condone it.

Religious zealots who used religion as an excuse to attack innocent people. The CATHOLIC Church used the excuse of retaking the Holy Lands to attack and kill hundreds, although there was also RAPE and PILLAGING as well. They didn't take the Holy Land back until about the 8th crusade when there was a PEACE TREATY to take the lands BEFORE the attack. Then the Catholic Church got GREEDY years later and LOST IT ALL. They broke the Peace treaty and lost everything in that area. Hmm maybe that should tell you what side God REALLY takes, the side he sent his SON TO TEACH. The side they are SUPPOSED to be taking as a Christian Church.
9/11 was the last attack(for the moment) in a long line of attacks on America(similar to all the attacks of the crusade in that sense). Those attacks include the FIRST WTC attack, the Khandar Towers being attacked to attack American soldiers, the Embassy bombings, The U.S.S. Cole. Yet the U.S. HASN'T converted like Bin Laden and Al-Quida wanted. An exercise in futility just like the Crusades.

Oh, lots. The Crusades were fought to regain the holy lands in the East, and 9/11 occurred to punish those businesses housed in the buildings who 2000 years ago supported the Crusades. Anyone knows that!!

None. The Crusades were about Christians and Moslems fighting to be the religion of
'the holy land' - the area around Jerusalem. 9/11 is about a group of crazy fanatics who hate everyone and want to turn the clock back on the world about 2000 years. You can bet that if there were no Christians or Jews for them to attack, they would next turn their attention to the more moderate sects of Muslims. I wish those cowards would come out and fight like men so we could be rid of them once and for all.
