it doesn't rhyme.

title-mistake

All I ask of you
Is one simple thing.
It means so much,
And costs nothing.
It has saved nations,
And moved mountains.

It was wrong,
I know this.
I tried,
But not hard enough.
There are a million things
That I could have done,
So why did it have to be that one?

I have a history
Of happenings just like this.
I swear I'll be better,
I will, truly, this time.
One more chance?
I'm begging you,
Just this one thing.
Please?

I didn't mean to ruin the happiness,
It just happened.
The opportunity was right in front of me
And I, the fool, took it with all I was worth.
Why? Fear causes many things in life.
One more chance?
I'm begging you again?

Could you find the strength
To give me this?
Again?
I'll try harder,
I want to make this work.
You know that I do.
Just one more time?
I'm so sorry,
I was doing so well for a while.

All I ask of you

what stinks about the whole problem. bluefeather, is i could of easily lied and convinsed you i didn't.

i did what i belive was the right thing, now i'm paying for it.


this reminds me of what my dad said once:

"most of the people who do or try to do good just end up getting screwed."

above where it is highlighted the "f" because thats all i can see, is supposed to say "forgive".
