In fact, a believer, in the same of religion, refrains from eating some dishes, some practise, etc.
So, are you "free" when you are believer or not?

I bought a cool purple notebook and I don't know what to write. Can you help me please. Keep in mind that I have a younger sister who might find it and show it to all her friends.
I have thought about writing stories or poems or even making a scrapbook but I can't think of anything to put. When I get a notebook and try to think of something to write, my brain always goes out of gear. HELP!

Years ago I was amazed by a type of art where the painting, a racetrack scene, was painted on a spindle in the center of a bowl with a reflective surface. The painting had to be skewed so that it showed properly in the reflection. I have been purchasing art and would like to try to track down a similar piece. Is anyone familiar with this type of art?

We have already concluded that the deadliest, smartest, most powerful weapon in the world is...... us (humans), the people who use everything around them in battle. True, most people are not good weapons because they have never been trained. But when I think about the future, I think that humans will the strongest, smartest, weapons. With genetic manipulation we can make people stronger, faster, smarter, more flexible, more agile, more stamina, with a longer life span. This is what I think is the way of the future. What do you think?

1)Overspeculation-or excessive, risky investments in land, stocks, and commodities, in the hope of making huge profits-contributed to the Panic of 1819
I think it's wrong ,for it's nothing to do with risky investment in stocks and commodities.

2)The XYZ affair of 1797 did much to improve relations between America and France.

3)President Jefferson and nation were relieved when France resecured Louisiana from Spain in 1800, for Americans would again have shipping rights through New Orleans, a better chance for western expansion, and a friendly neighbor along their western border.

They say, 'Honesty is the best policy.' Sadly, it seems to be but a policy that hardly, if ever, gets implemented! Everywhere you look in the society, dishonesty seems to be ruling the roost. The cutthroat attitude of people is willing to sacrifice honesty in the altar of monetary gains. So, is honesty really heading the dinosaur's way?

After a long and wretched flight
That stretched from daylight into night,
Where babies wept and tempers shattered
And the plane lurched and whiskey splattered
Over my plastic food, I came
To claim my bags from Baggage Claim

Around, the carousel went around
The anxious travelers sought and found
Their bags, intact or gently battered,
But to my foolish eyes what mattered
Was a brave suitcase, red and small,
That circled round, not mine at all.

I knew that bag. It must be hers.
We hadnt met in seven years!
And as the metal plates squealed and clattered
My happy memories chimed and chattered.
An old man pulled it off the Claim.
My bags appeared: I did the same.

I really don't think JK will kill Harry (she'd be getting death threats for the rest of her pampered life!), but I'm worried that Ron or Hermione will die. Any ideas on what to expect with the last novel???

i've always wondered what the modern christain POV is about the christain crusades, "the burning times", the inquisition and so on. to me, if a religion that caused for centuries, so much carnage and misery to non-believers, how can the believers have faith in something that destructive?
