I love the surprises life can bring. Being the small fish is just perfect.

If I know my nature correctly, I would prefer to be a small fish in a big sea. Granted that it involves the risk of getting eated up by bigger fish. But, it does ensure that I get a good chance of observing everything that is going around. Remember, only a small fish can get a look at every big fish, but the vice versa isn't true. Being an admirer of ' The Outsider' by Albert Camus, I would love to be the observer than the observed.

Small fish in a big sea. There wouldn't be much exploring to do if I was a big fish in a small sea... I'd get bored.

I'd be a small fish in a big sea.
Being a big fish in a small sea may be fun for a while but when you've eaten all the other fish, you starve.

As I mature, I begin to realize I'm not immortal and the world is a dangerous place. So, I would rather be a big fish in a small sea. It would be safer, I think.

The small fish needs to grow up somehow how so the big sea is more accommodating for his growth.

I'd rather be a small fish in a big sea; being big in a small sea would make my living space too small! lol
More seriously...being big in a small sea would be too conspicuous...the equivalent to the human world would probably mean being a celebrity...and I don't like being in the limelight.

I'm a medium fish in a small sea and I really like it. I'm working on getting bigger. It seems that it feeds on itself. As you do things to make yourself bigger, others, seeing you get bigger, help you along the way. You seem to get things easier as you get bigger, like entrance into places or discounts or an easier time doing some business, because you get treated better. That in turn helps you grow. So some of it is what you do yourself and some of it is other people's perception of how big you are. Make sense? I find it very interesting and amusing, people's perception of how big you really are. I think that what people think of me (as far as the big fish thing) is not at all what I am ... or am I?
