theyre weird, freaky, spooky, bloody, haunting, and very cool.......you can read a lot of them on project gutenberg...australia version..totally 4 free (Hills of the dead would be a good one to start with)........very unusual stuff., sorta part horror, part adventure, and part bizarre

I love books that have a realistic 'voice', especially in the teen genre which is pretty hard to find.

Some of my all-time favorite books would have to be Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld, Crank by Ellen Hopkins, and The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah.

My number-one is Imani All Mine by Connie Rose Porter, I have read it at least 10 times and every single time I wind up crying my eyes out!!

So I am writing a story, and well I figured that maybe i could have the first story written with the help of the yahoo answers community. so I will be posting questions regarding the story as I go along. I will give you as little detail as possible as not to spoil the plot and such. I will pick the one i like the most and post it on the answer. he is 15 years old. his birth day is April 27th 1992. He plays the cello in school and is very good, has won lots of competitions locally and regionally and is set to attend a summer Julliard program. He also excels at a sport. not sure what one yet so I need that as well. I see him at 6'2 and growing A lean but defined look. dark features with light skin.
oh yea i know i cant spell, but thats what editors are for.

My last name 'Allis' means 'follower of God' or something Christian-ish.
[Other last names in my blood-line include 'Walker'=someone who treads on cloth to thin it, and 'Watson'=son of Watt/Walter].

So, I'm a young actress, currently attending an arts school for drama, and i really want to get into a movie! I need a good agency, or a site, or a convention that can get me into a film! Anything helps!

Hi,
I'm preparing myself take my headshots the second time around. The headshots from my 1st time were a disaster because I didn't do my homework and I hired the wrong photographer. I'm giving myself @ least 6months to take them again and in that time I'm working on creating my character, the RIGHT character that I want my headshots to portray. So, finally my question is as follow. Can anyone direct me to a book or website that I can read to help me during this process?
