So, I'm a young actress, currently attending an arts school for drama, and i really want to get into a movie! I need a good agency, or a site, or a convention that can get me into a film! Anything helps!
I have experience, and am willing to do almost anything! Any good ideas?

Hmm. I good way to start is getting headshots and a resume. Then look around Hollywood (or virtually anywhere) for auditions for movies. That's usually the only way.
Unfortunately, directors don't walk down the street and yell, "I want her to be in my movie!"

Are movies shot in the city where you live?
Having an agent does NOT mean you will be cast in a movie.
The Talent Agent determines where the actor is best suited. The agent may think the actor is better for voiceovers, print, industrials and NOT commercials or film. The Agent is the professional - not the actor.

Look for extra work. That's the best place to start. Send your headshots to agents you know are casting. Pick up a copy of the Ross Reports. It's a listing of agents and casting agents that are casting movies,tv, and commercials. Their addresses are provided for you to mail your headshot, resume, and a polite cover letter to.

I have always found that the best way to get into a movie is through the front door. Sneaking in through the back door will only earn you the scorn of the other patrons.

Find out if any production companies are looking for extras - you might catch someones eye - or you might discover the work sucks swampwater.
I have friends in my area that have gone to calls for extras - they enjoyed it.
