First, a warning: This is a public forum, and it is against the law to take narcotics or barbiturates in any way that differs from how they were prescribed for you--and they must be prescribed for you; both you and your friend would be in trouble in this scenario--I'm talking felony.

Okay, don't panic. Four Vicodins are not a lot, even if they're up there in mgs. Most prescribed are 500 or 750. So four is most likely to be 2000 or 3000mgs.

You will not O.D. You'll feel bad, though. You'll get all these zzzzzzzzzy's in your skin, and coming off will be no fun. If they haven't "kicked in" yet, then they must be a lower dosage, or you are accustomed to taking a lot, and you already know not to worry.

If you don't take them often, then be glad they haven't "kicked in." That's a side effect, and it causes addiction. Not everyone get the "buzz." It's supposed to help with pain, not with giving you feelings of euphoria.

As for the back and neck spasms that are keeping you awake, go to a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, an orthopaedic doctor; you may have something serious that needs professional attention; 'sounds like a pinched nerve.

In the meantime send your friend out for a neck thing that you can both microwave and put in the freezer. They are the BEST. When I get pain, I get addicted to the release of spasm that the ice pack gives and the relaxation and sleepiness that the heat packs give. They work!

Go to sleep. You'll be fine. No hysteria necessary, small potatoes, okay? And drink water and eat some bread, 1. to protect your stomach lining from the acetominophen in Vicodin and 2. to soak it up and out of you....

Very philosophical question...

...I don't know exactly, but I wouldn't take anymore. You should be fine as long as you stop now. I honestly didn't know that Vicodin helped spasms, I thought it was for pain. Read through the link below, and see if it helps.

You should be under a docter's care . Generally the recommended dosage is one every four hours. Taking one after anotherisn't very wise as they take time to dissolve and work effectively.

You should not be taking medication that is not prescribed to you. If you think you need some kind of medication, see a doctor and get something that he feels would suit you best. You are not a doctor, nor a pharmacist, so stop acting so stupid with your life!

Stop doing or repating what you have been doing before it is too late and you get addicted, after which taking them will have no effect on your system!

That's too many. Maybe you shouldn't lie down. Sleep upright if you must. I hope you didn't wash them down with vodka.
