I don't know, but it's not worth dying to find out, If you were, that would eternally suck.
Here you have alternatives. If you are NOT currently diagnosed with a mental health issue, go get some St. John's Wort .It's a natural mood elevator. . They sell it w/ the vitamins at Wal-Mart. Follow the dosage instructions exactly. Give life a couple more weeks and see how you feel. If it works for you, you are probably depressed because of your body chemistry being naturally screwed up. Then you can go to a Dr. and explain your problem. But don't assume that death is better than what you are going through. You are here for a reason, and you may never know what that is, but why walk out in the middle of the movie? Wait for the end credits...

No, you wont. Depression is often caused by a decreased production of seratonin in the brain. That means that most depressed people are chemically imballanced. Thankfully there are medications to fix that. And once you are dead your nerves stop firing and producing any chemicals at all because they are no longer necessary. So no, you wont be depressed when you die. In the mean time I suggest you speak to your doctor about this and get some help. Good luck!

if you want to be depressed I am sure you could find a way to be depressed even dead. after all you are only energy, your body id just what allows your energy movement on this plane of existence. so you could choose anyway of being at anytime. Why not choose to be positive about something in your life and then you will see depression is a choice nothing more nothing less

Well, when you go to sleep and wake up next morning you are still depressed right?.So when you die your mind is not dead (nobody can prove if your mind is dead) therefore (technically) you still have depression until something stops it .Does that make any sense.Probably not !

Probably not...try to find the root or the reason of your depression and take care of it...sometimes changing your diet really helps...try eating vegetarian food and drink plenty of green tea...it really helped me...or find the flower that best suits your problem and buy tea made of that flower...I used to be like you 3 years ago, but I started a Naturalistic cure since then and I feel great...natural remedies are wonderful. Nobody really knows what it is to be in the afterlife as long as one is alive. Practically mind stops functioning when one is dead, so no longer the pain or distress felt or anything.Mind and body are absolved from all illusions. Hence the term "IN PEACE".

Yes, you will wake up and be depressed again. Cut it out! There's got to be something in your life that you can also dream about so when you die you just go into that cool dream.
