Having just answered another recently posted question "What is the meaning of life?" (or similar) with the simple solution that the meaning of life is essentially to seek happiness, we found ourselves asking the somewhat deeper question, "Why the constant need to seek this happiness?"

I am an athiest. Why should I become a believer of religion?

I am having a very difficult time and I feel very cold and distant from the world sometimes. Has anyone abandoned atheism and turned to faith? Or the other way around? Tell me your reason.

my thoughts:
i believe the killing of 70,000 people in up to 60,000 were injured in Nagasaki and the killing of at least an estimated 90,000 people in Hiroshima was a war crime.
To get peace you dont go about it by killing 160,000 people

please no racial slurs, you're better off not putting your answer down if thats all you have.

hello,
I'm 16 years old and I started dancing salsa a year ago. Now I want to improve and I take private lessons once a week for one hour. I go to dance bars and try to get better. but that is not enough for me. what do u think? where else can i go? what else can i do?
by the way my dance teacher told me that she cannot give me any more lessons because she has no time.
should i find another teacher?

I live in the Bahamas, and I can draw beautiful Bahamian culture drawings like flaminoes, blue marlins, landscapes, etc. I was thinking of going to the straw market, or some place similar, to show them what I can draw, try to sell them a drawing so they can sell it over at a higher price (they need their profit too, just like I need mine). Is this a good idea or a stupid one? If it's good, can you tell me why, and tell me how it'll be helpful? If you think it's a silly idea, then do you have any better ones?
