Play the edges. Take chances. Do something risky. This doesn't mean to go out and hurt yourself, it just means to challenge yourself to try out new things. Motivation comes through changing your basic patterns.

This is a very hard question to answer. If the drive and motivation to live life is something you really want, than we have something in common. I think the drive is something you have to find... Along with time, energy, possibly money and a secure settlement, ambition, spontaneousness, and a lot of other things that go with it. Also, everyone classifies the term "living life" differently. Some people only need a cozy home, a small job, and a book to feel they're living life. While others need fun and excitement, lots of people around, and to constantly be on their feet (like me). If you think about it though, all you really need is a home to return to, and a good friend to enjoy "living life" with. I think once you have that, you can be spontaneous and "GO FOR IT!" I hope you find the determination and guidance you're looking for.

Good question that has no answer. This is indeed a bazaar existence. But the best any of us can do is just keep moving forward. The end is coming soon enough for all of us. So why give up? Just play along and try to have fun with it along the way. As Einstein once said "one must learn to laugh and to live with a certain amount of resignation toward ones own furthered existence". Good luck and maybe dont care so much.

Appreciation.
I started keeping a daily gratitude journal in which I write down all the things I am grateful for in my life. It can be just things in general or things about that day that I'm grateful for. I admit, somedays it can be a stretch, but there's always something.
I appreciate my good health, my lifestyle, my husband, my parents, my job, my family, my friends, my physically able body which carries me through each and everyday. My house, my car, my beautiful hair, my intellect, my ability to get along with people, my ability to communicate clearly via the written word, my creativity...the list goes on and on.
I appreciate when I get from one place to another safely. I appreciate when I have a good day at work. I appreciate my husbands ambition and drive to make sure we make a good living through his business.
When you are in a state of appreciation you are feeling good, and then you are attracting more good things to you. And everyday you will see getting better and better. This is more motivating than anything in the world!
Best wishes!

It just happens. Its hard to explain. I was feeling low and everything. Then I went to a very large city I havent been this happy for ever. The motivation comes from in your self. You have to do your passion, stand up for yourself, and most importantly love yourself. If you do not live yourself this is probably your problem. You do not need a relationship to fulfill your needs. If you like reading I would highly suggest reading the following books for Iyanla Vanzant: In the Meantime, also Yesterday, I cried. These are very good. Good luck!

Don't sit around doing nothing, alone... that doesn't lead anywhere good. Figure out your interests and find people who like the same thing. If you don't like anything, just go out and explore, and if you see someone doing something cool, ask them about it.
But you can't focus on finding the "thing" so to speak. Live life, experience life, and you'll eventually stumble across it. Stay at home in bed all day and all you'll get is bed sores.

Both. It certainly is a roller coaster, huh? Though inspiration sometimes just appears out of thin air, waiting around for it is unwise.
Being curious seems to be the key.

truthfully there are days where it just comes to me.. when i know that everything is just going to be peachy.. but i do have alot of days to where i have to find motivation.. to even get out of bed.. that is why i set things up.. not a list of things to do.. but plans for the up coming days.. like now im feeling pretty good.. becuase i know that my birthday will be comeing up.. then after that i know that next month.. my friend is coming home.. so i have things to look forward to.. it helps out alot.. speically when there is a big gap between events.. find little things.. like of i get to have my hair cut today.. but i love life.. so it easier for me to find things

When you think about all the crap you are expected to do these days to survive, it is amazing most of us do it. Think about it....shopping, cooking, cleaning, job or school, learn to drive, pay your bills, keep your computer virus free, schedule doctor/dental/eye visits, balance checkbook, invest for your future, cut the grass, rotate your tires, file your taxes, I could go on and on.....Motivation? If you don't do these things, you don't survive!

Knowing that it will end very soon, sooner than you probably want it to is a motivation.
