Me and a friend of mine are auditioning for High School Musical with a community theater group that focuses on high school/ college students. His range is low bass to mid baritone (although I think he undersestimates his range) and I'm comfortable doing a solo from low baritone to mid tenor (Can go a bit higher in ensemble). I'm planning on singing "If Ever I Would Leave You" mostly because it displays power and respectable range but I feel like they may want something more exciting and upbeat; he wants some help selecting a song, and to tell the truth I have no idea what to tell him. Any suggestions?

Is it inpossible? If it's something you're totally confused about ?
What if it's not in your own self interest?

It's a broad question, and I leave it open to your own tastes. I narrowed it down to "novelists", as opposed to writers who were primarily poets or playwrights (ex: Shakespeare, Yeats, Eliot). My question includes all writers in the English language, not only from England. If you can, give the name of one book by each author and/or a reason for your choices! But please, don't rank authors based on bestseller status, only your personal preferences! Thanks!

That's a quote by someone whose name my brain has hidden in dark nooks or possibly crannys that I can't find. I used to quote it to "clients" who'd call in to the suicide hotline when I was a counselor for D.A.R.E.So, the question is--who was whatsizname?

Did the T-Rex alive 65 million years ago think about the kind of world it was leaving behind when it was it was eating another dinosaur? Or even when it was dying. Did it worry that its ofspring would not have enough meat to live?

Why then is humanity so obsessed with environmental issues, recycling and some humans even forgo meat to impress others.

Who cares what happens in a hundred years or even a million. We will all be dust by then. We are tought to care about the environment our ofspring will live in, yet they are not taught to care about the environment we die in.

Pollution and the environment is the next generations problem, not ours. If I die at 45 will my ofspring really care about wether I get 1st class private ticket to the end or a second class budget ticket?

Deppressing thoughts for a 26 year old, but its the truth. The media trains us to care about the next generation, not informing us that all they will want is our money.

I'm doing an IB Internal Assessment on some aspect of American history.. I was leaning towards focusing on FDR and the extent of his role in the relief after the Depression, but I really haven't thought of much else.

Are there any very interesting characters in US History who may actually have some legitimate information on them I would be interested in researching?

I have 3 glass jars with lids. With the lids on, they measure about 10 inches high, and 5 inches wide. The shape of the jars is square with rounded corners. The lids are round with a raised cross handle (all made out of glass). It is more of a cross than a X or + , as one side is longer on each lid. There are also small grooves on the top of the cross handle, which seem to coincide with grooves on the bottom of jar, such as to bind the jar together.

There are various raised designs on the sides of the jars. One side has a beaver and "Hudson Bay" (all in uppercase letters), another side has a Fleur de Leis, another has a crest type thing with a unicorn and lion, the 4th side is blank. Each jar is identical.

I've searched numerous times online to find info on these with no luck (which is kinda odd), hopefully someone knows something about them, thanks!

I'm new to this, but does anyone know what medium I would use to make a mold from a stone. In other words, There is an old building with a beautiful design sculpted in to it. I want to copy this design. I know there is a material out there that I can press against the original design and make a mold of it and then cast the design in plaster. I just don't know what material I would use to do this without hurting the stone.... Help!!!

Volleyball is an extremely difficult sport to photograph due to the ball and players moving so fast and sudden. At the last game I tried, I played with different presets, aperture, ISOs, and shutter speeds. Nothing seemed to work just right. I'm constricted to using no flash and I'm stuck with yellowish gym lighting. I have a Sony Alpha and the next game is tomorrow. Any suggested manual settings or other tips so I can get the best pictures as possible?
(I also have access to Photoshop so I can change lighting and anything else I need to afterwards.)

“Life... is like a box of chocolates; a cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Un-returnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this un-definable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.”

i got this quote off an episode of the X-Files... what do u all think of this mindset?

Which would you choose if you only had these three options:

Option 1:
To love another and not be able for physical reasons be able to have them love you in return. These physical reasons may include paralysis, neurological fault or similar ONLY!

OR

Option 2:
Be phyically unable to love at all. This means unable to feel love from within for another or without from someone else.

Or

Option 3:
Death.

The point of this question is to understand the majoritys perception of the minority so please answer within the bounds of the question only unless expanding on a point.

(P.S. don't say that it is impossible, because it's not)

Thanks in advance.
