I'm writing a novel and need a good, interesting name for a race of intelligent beings who look somewhat like large chambered nautilus. They living in water filled crystaline cities on an Earth-like world where mammals never rose and sea creatures are the highest form of intelligence. These are minor characters, members of an inter-species alliance between humans, various humanoid and non-humanoid races. I can't think of a good name. Help!

In the summer time, I sleep with a fan next to my bed, and it oscillates back and forth cooling my entire body. When I wake up in the morning though, my lips are covered in a chap stick- like substance. Is that nature's way of preventing cracked lips-sort of like a natural lip balm?

I'm looking for a very good camera to start off a photography career, but I was hoping to spend about £400-£500 on something that is very good, professianal, and so I don't have buy a better one later... (I think it's a bit of a waste spending like £300, then when I'm ready, getting one for like £500)

We know that Fred/George were really eager to represent Hogwarts in Triwizard Tournament. They tried to put their name in Goblet of Fire, but failed. What if they succeed then? What if they both became the Hogwarts champion, and not Cedric Diggory? I mean them both really worth to represent Hogwarts there, despite their age! They really knew their stuffs and were amazingly advanced for Wizards of their age!

I believe if they both became Hogwarts champion, the Gryffindors would all very please to send three champions (including Harry), the other three Houses would have such instant uproar (because somehow the Gryffindors had successfully cheated Dumbledore’s age line), and the whole judges and participants from other schools would be totally furious (Three champions from ONE school?!? Preposterous!!)

This was an add-on to my first question but nobody seemed to see it.

I HATE Sue Bridehead from 'Jude the Obscure'. I think she is the most self-deluded character I have ever come across. I also detest Stephen from 'The Well of Loneliness', who I find ugly and odious beyond words.

Who could you willingly throttle??

ps: please do not answer this with anything along the lines that 'they are only books'. That rather defies the point, and furthermore I will find your lack of imagination depressing.
