Reason and logic are human processes. A universe does not have to conform to human understanding. Such a universe would be beyond our understanding and therefore beyond our ability to describe it.

I believe it could since reasoning and logic are in themselves products of human philosophy. Since human imagination is founded in experience however, I lack the ability to describe what such a universe would be like.

yes. that's beyond the limits of human understanding, reason, logic and symmetry. that's the universe humans can never fathom using human logic. i believe that's the universe of what we casually call god. its the universe we might discover after death. . . . .there's no certainty about this point as long as we use human reason to ascertain its reality. what did the great Carl Sagan see at the time of his death?
something there is out there lost to all humankind. . . . . . a universe that operates independently of human simplistic stupidities like philosophy and trivialities like literature, chicken-hearted religious persuasions and idiocies like to be or not to be kind of stuff!
