In my experience half.com had the lower prices (on new and used books) what about you? Do you prefer half or amazon?

1 - During the period following the Civil War the US:
a - was willing to expand because of isolationism.
b - was able to once again expand because slavery in new territories was no longer an issue.
c - had a shrinking economy that prevented the country from expanding.
d - only grew because of graft and bribery in Congress.

I play basketball for my school team but recently i've been playin myself too hard because last saturday my back muscles were a little too tight and started spasming. I saw the doctor and he gave me some muscle relaxant and said i shouldn't take part in any strenuous activity for 3 weeks. However, i have a dance at my school in 3 days and I was really lookin forward to goin...do you think if i continue to rest my back that I'l be able to dance a week after my back spasm even though my back is still sore? What if i were to do some static stretching before i left my house for the dance..then would it be ok to dance because my muscles would be a little looser?

I'm talking 60s/70s/80s vintage color photographs. Also, any other tips you can give for getting this effect. Nothing digital/photoshopping, though. I have old cameras: an old Russian medium format camera and an old Russian 35mm camera.

how do u resize really big pictures?? i always send them to my friend but i think its about time i do it on my own. when i upload my pictures off my camera to my computer they r huge and i cant use them on places like myspace cuz they r so big. how do i make them normal size. what is the normal size? plz explain in details dont leave anything out

When you read history books or historical documents (for class or leisure) do you analyze the information based on what you believe to have logically happened, or do you believe the information without question?

Some historical information I believe to have happened due to logic and reasoning. However, most of the time I feel that information and 'facts' have been modified or created to suit certain puposes. What about you?
