There is no way a piece of paper can last 230 years, period. I have old report cards that are 20 years old from the 7th grade that are nearly decomposed (all A’s & 1 B+ on the report cards). How can people possibly the original copy is on display? I challenge anyone to put up a valid argument a piece of paper would not decompose over 230 years.

I have been afraid to use them ever since I took a college writing course as a freshman years ago. My professor and I were going over one of my papers in his office and he said to me a few times, "Why did you use a comma here?" Would a paper come off as more clear, concise, and compelling if you use proper grammar, but keep punctuation (such as commas) to a minimum? Is it possible to write a complex sentence without using commas and semicolons?

Would anyone know if their were any good acting classes that I could take over the summer? I love acting, and I love to see Broadway shows, I really would like to get in it.

How about with the antagonists in your stories, any connection or sympathy for them? Even though the characters are only fictitious but do you find yourself forming a bond with them as you’re unfolding their personas, their struggles and their lives in your stories. If not how do you make the drama so real and compelling?

I would like to get into writing seriously, but have little experience. I heard that you could make a comfortable income writing childrens books, and think it would give me an idea of the industry. I would like to test the waters before I change my career and go off to study writing in another city!
I'm confident of my story ideas, but don't have any illustrative skill.
I'm in a financial crunch, and also have to admit that I'm curious about the renumiration I have heard is possible. Although I will pursue this interest regardless of financial viability, I would like to know weather or not I should have my hopes up.

I'm doing a dramatic monologue from 'Our Town' in a high school district drama competition (specifically the section toward the end, where she keeps trying to speak to her mother but she cannot hear Emily).

I just figured I'd get second, third opinions... How would you interpret Emily? How did her personality come off towards you, and how would you portray her?
