You are going to see me and my sculptures everywhere.

Seriously, though, if i have my way, there will be a shift away from the huge, heavy, metal sculptures that have dominated the last couple decades, to an airy ephemeral feel to sculpture. Also, a shift away from pure conceptualism.

I personally like sculpture because it puts things (artistically) into an entirely new perspective. I like that it brings a subject into the three dimensional world. I think art is something that just improves (For the most part) over time, so I hope that sculpture will continue to evolve and prosper into the 21st and following centuries. Capital question! :-)

i have always loved three dimensional art. i think it's because it actually takes up space.

for future sculpture, i think we'll start to see a combination of realism and abstract. judging by how other artistic endeavors (music, fashion, movies) i think there's going to be a big surge in combination art. this melding of different styles.
