i was looking in the encyclopeida, trying to learn more about the masons(my grandfather, and great grandfather were masons) when i saw that the knights templar emblem is depicted in our church's stained glass window. our church is baptist, yet 250 yrs ago we bought it from the united presbyterian church. why is a mason emblem in our church. also, what is the connection between the knights templar(which i understand was a group of french crusadors) and the masons!! thanx for taking the time to read and answer!!

I don't remember the name or the author, but it was perhaps a young adult book. About a young kid who lived near and who climbed the Matterhorn? I think his father or grandfather had also done it. I remember he left the village carrying bread and cheese. Any ideas, please?

ok, i'm reading "A Christmas Carol", by Charles Dickens, in school. i have to write an essay about it. i can choose 3 essays to write about and i want to do the one about the ghosts. the thing is we have to know what each ghost represents...i know the last 2 but not the 1st.

we need to know what it's appearence and it's attitude represents about the past.

They held "auditions" for casting for the Disney Channel's "Suite Life of Zack&Cody" and a few other Disney/Nickelodeon shows and we got a call back time, when we called back they told me that my daughter had a "great look and personality", which she is really good... so they want to see her again tonight, they then of course asked for current report card and for me to be financially prepared for whatever program she will need, since she has NO training...Help I have to know before I go!!
