I have to write a letter to anthony Horowitz for an assignment for school. He is the writer of the Alex Writer Adventure Series. And the Raven's Gate too. His books are really good.

I am 21 years old, looking to learn for recreational purpose not professionally. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

4th line from bottom: "or nagged by want past resolution's power," (want=need)

Sonnet 30
Love is not all: it is not meat nor drink
Nor slumber nor a roof against the rain;
Nor yet a floating spar to men that sink
And rise and sink and rise and sink again;
Love can not fill the thickened lung with breath,
Nor clean the blood, nor set the fractured bone;
Yet many a man is making friends with death
Even as I speak, for lack of love alone.
It well may be that in a difficult hour,
Pinned down by pain and moaning for release,
Or nagged by want past resolution’s power,
I might be driven to sell your love for peace,
Or trade the memory of this night for food.
It well may be. But I do not think I would.

Edna St. Vincent Millay

Wow, I'm still stunned about getting the part because I auditioned for a supporting role, but I apparently preformed so well that the director was afraid that I would upstage whoever got the lead...

I didn't really prepare for the part of Marian, so I never really got a chance to develop my character. I'm really excited about getting the part but I don't know if I know her well enough...hehe

For theater class, I have to perform a one-man pantomime. It can be about anything, as long as it's Christian decent. It must be at least one minute. Any ideas on what I can do please!? A song has to play in the background too so if you want, suggest some song choices :D Thanks.

I have a painting that my Grandmother did about 50 years ago. It has a lot of cracking in the paint. How can I restore it and protect it from further damage. I don't think this is a DIY project. Where could I take this to get it taken care of at low cost? I was thinking maybe the art dept. at a college? Ideas?
Thanks!

I don't always understand what the metaphors. means. i think meat symbolises power, life and death.
What do you think. these things symbolise: meat, drink, slumber, roof, spar, sink, resolution's power, food
