Why would a clergyman kill a prostitute by making it look as if she committed suicide?

If an inspector found out that this prostitute had been killed, and that it was not a suicide, what could be the clues that lead to the clergyman?? Or, perhaps the clues lead to an innocent man, whom the inspector thinks is the criminal....though, in the end, he finds out that he is wrong.

Can anyone tell me the major events of the United States? Not good events but "bad" events. Here are some examples of what I'm talking about. Pearl Harbor, Adolf Hitler/Concentration Camps, Native Americans/Trail of Tears, Slavery, Titanic...if you could name any more for me, that would be great.

I'm trying to explain to someone, but can't find the words, why exactly ignorance cannot lead to true happiness. The person says that knowledge brings misery, but yet I think that although knowledge may bring despair, happiness without knowledge is not true happiness. Help please?

I bought a harmonica the other day and I want to learn to play. Its as simple as that. Where do I start? What do I need to know before I start? Where did you all learn to play? I have googled "harmonica lessons" and searches of that nature but you can only learn so much from minute long video clips...

Thanks for your help! and if you play... how long did it take for you to get where you are now

Rather than be accused of promoting it, I will not enter the links here. But I'm curious to know some of you, and how you are doing on this. Or if not, have you ever published a book or even published in journals, literary quarterlies, or anything prestigious like National Geographic, Esquire, GQ, Time Magazine, The New Yorker?

What advice might you offer to the aspiring novelist?

I know, most of you will disagree but take these into consideration. I know that this world contains a lot of suffering. But without suffering we would never know what suffering is, and we wouldn't know what to value. Even many unfortunate things happen but they happen for a reason - for the better of life. We become stronger and more determined through these sufferings. We're too blinded to see, but in the end, all suffering will be redeemed. Therefore, sufferings (bad) often leads to good.

What do you guys think?
