A central copy of all civil birth, marriage and death registrations is held by the General Register Office (GRO) and a central index is held at the Family Records Centre (FRC) in London. Local Offices hold records of and indexes to events registered in their area since 1837.

All you need to do is visit your local Registry Office. They have all the records of Births Deaths and marriages and they are public domain documents so you can easily access them. Try yell.com for your nearest registry office.
