I live in Long Island NY and I really want to take acting classes where they teach you and they do plays

College of Staten Island has a decent department, it's a JC
I can't think of any school on Long Island, most are in the city.
CCNY
Far from you, but it's also good.
Staten Island is probably the closet
School of the Art Institute
Very good school. Very expensive school
Maybe instead you should hook up with a local theater group and intern.
You usher or sell tickets and they teach you in exchange for labor.

I'm a Jr in High school in Maryland. and right now I take advance acting at my school but I have checked out my community college for classes and they seem to have pretty good acting classes! I suggest to look at your community college and see what plays they produce and see if your interested.
