the whole family loved the books...we even listened to them on tape...fantastic word for word from the books...great for the youngest who didn't read at all when we discovered HP when book 4 came out...As far as the movies, the first two directed by Christopher Columbus were amazing, although he had to leave alot out, everything looked just as we had imagined it! I didn't like the third movie because of all the changes the director made with the outside scenes...as well as some of the more important things he left out. The fourth movie was much better...I am looking forward to the fifth....and the last book.

I loved the books, and the movies were pretty good. I do think that maybe the movies would be better to someone who hasn't read the books though. They weren't terrific in following the books exactly, but all-in-all, they were wonderful films.

I really like the books. I think the movies do a pretty good job with following the book so I like them too.

Love the books though at times they can be a biiit too detailed. But her imagination is way too rad man!!! :-)

The movies are great but they don't include many parts of the books (like the DA, etc.). That's why I prefer to 1st read books & then their movie adaptations, in general.

Great books. The movies aren't that bad either. In fact, it was the movies that got me to read the books, and now I prefer the books to the movies.

i love them! they're great. the movies, i like all, except for the 3th and 4th. i mean they're good, but the movie either skipped parts, didn't add parts from the book that are good to watch if they added it, they added irrelevant scenes.
