I was captain/solo majorette in high school and loved it! I wanted to get into teaching lessons to young girls. I want to get a group of girls and teach them the basics and then move onto routines. I thought maybe we could participate in local parades and events. I have done this once before a while back with a dance studio, but this time I want to do it on my own. I am just looking for suggestions..... Is this even a good idea? What are private "lessons" costing? Do I need any sort of business license?

Do you think one day mankind can overcome death?
If yes, why do you think so?
If no, why do you think it will never be possible?

I like to read mysteries, and enjoy Mary Higgins Clark. I was wondering if anyone could give me any recomendations for authors. Or any specific books that I should read. I read about two books a week. It helps pass the time while my wonderful husband is in Iraq. I want to read as much as I can before I head of to a new job (medical or dental assisting) because that will take up most of my time. Sorry for giving you my life story but any recomendations?

The statement is: "This too shall pass"

Can this be refuted? Doesn't eveything pass away eventually? Looking for ideas. Just curious.

Thanks:))

The story takes place sometime in the late 1800s/early 1900s. A man comes home to find all of the staff in his house unconcious or missing, and when he reaches his study, he finds that his wife has been taken captive by a white-haired vampire. The vampire wants his assistance in solving a case of who has been killing the nearby vampire population off. This vampire asks the main character for his help because the main character was apparently a spy at one point, and was good at getting to secret information. I think the story may have taken place in England. It may have a sequel.

I noticed a simillar question was posted 3 days ago, but mine is bit different. I am asking for the possibility of the life in the "whole universe", not just our solar system.

I have very little knowledge on the space study, so I may misuse some words. But I am sure you understand what I try to mean.

As you know, there are many, many galexies out there, which could take some billion light years or more to just get to there. We simply can not travel that far, because our technology has not been developed sophisticated enough.

Based on this fact, I think it is natural to imagine that there must be some lives (not the primitive ones like the becteria, etc.), close to the human. They may not have been evolved good enough just like us right now, but who knows if they are having the middle ages of their own right now.

This is what I think. Do you think, or can you give me a fact that there may be a high leved livings like us out there?

Where do you think they possibly be?

Is an idea whose time has come powerful enough to transform a society(or even the world) for the better?

How about on a personal level?

(Paraphrasing the Victor Hugo quote)
