yes, it's completely conceiveable.
a) cure all diseases and processes that allow the body to whither -- replace old cells etc.
b) transplant consciousness to a computer.
Makes time travel look like mythology.

NO, all things eventually die. It's called entropy... but that doesn't mean to say that someday mankind won't find a way to live for a very long time. Scientists are right now, on the verge of manufacturing drugs and effecting procedures that will extend life beyond 500 years.

Mankind will overcome death when we realize that death is just a transition from dense matter to raw energy.

Hopefully not, the world would become overpopulated and violence would erupt. Misery would ensue. Death is just another part of the circle. I am Buddhist so I do NOT want to live forever, I believe if I am lucky enough not to be reborn, I will become one with everything.

No, mankind was and is not supposed to be able to overcome death, it happens eventually to everyone. The reason that I belioeve this is because God instituted death after Adam and Eve's original sin. They were supposed to , like all of us have eternal life on Earth but they messed that up, so essenially we will all die anyway.

His atonement saves us from 2 issues. actual lack of existence, and non secular lack of existence. The actual lack of existence is received, by the resurrection, which began with Christ. So in actual words we are able to all stay again similar to Christ does with a body of flesh and bone.

No, because God is the giver and taker of our human life. If you will put your trust in His Son Jesus Christ, accept Him as your Lord and Savior...then you will have eternal life forever. You will shed your human body (as taking off a coat) when God calls you home to heaven..to receive a brand new body!!
God bless you.
