I like to read mysteries, and enjoy Mary Higgins Clark. I was wondering if anyone could give me any recomendations for authors. Or any specific books that I should read. I read about two books a week. It helps pass the time while my wonderful husband is in Iraq. I want to read as much as I can before I head of to a new job (medical or dental assisting) because that will take up most of my time. Sorry for giving you my life story but any recomendations?

I am currently reading a Diane Mott Davidson book right now and it seems like I have read almost all of Louis Duncan's books including killing mr. griffin thank you all for your input!

I like MHC too. But, I like Agatha Christie and Harlan Coben is pretty good too.
I wish safe passage for your husband and good on you for working while he's away!

Life story not-withstanding, try reading J.A.Jance, Stuart Woods, James Doss, John Dunning, Chris Kuzneski, Jack duBrul or Iris Johannsen. Good fortune and happy reading.

Lois Duncan's books are really good. I don't know how many of them you would actually consider mystery, but they are all suspense. Killing Mr. Griffin is the best. I think it was written for teens but it is a nice book for any age. (p.s. Hope your husband makes it home safely!)
