I was captain/solo majorette in high school and loved it! I wanted to get into teaching lessons to young girls. I want to get a group of girls and teach them the basics and then move onto routines. I thought maybe we could participate in local parades and events. I have done this once before a while back with a dance studio, but this time I want to do it on my own. I am just looking for suggestions..... Is this even a good idea? What are private "lessons" costing? Do I need any sort of business license?

Yes this is a very gud idea!!Private lessons are actually very expensive.I do think you may need a license or permit of some sort though. My suggestion: Just be organized.Stay very focused on your goal because sometimes things happen that are discouraging. Also, THINK BIG! You guys could perform all over the nation or even the world with time and patience

God Bless!
