All world problems are important, but we would not be able to solve them if we consider them in improper order. I propose this sequence, because in the absence of love we cannot accomplish anything. And after accomplishing something, if we don't remember to make continuous progress, we will fall back to stagnancy or death.

Now if you take a faulty gene out through genetic screening ... what fills up the space that was occupied by that gene? Isn't there a thing called causuality? Like cause and effect? And is it to simple to say the effect will be there is no longer a faulty gene? How many generations before that gap gets filled?
I know ... we can't know and any answer is speculation. Which is why the question is in philosophy :-)

The term modernism refers to the radical shift in aesthetic cultural sensibilities evdent in the art and literature of the post- World War period. The ordered, stable and inherently meanigful worldveiw of the nineteenth century could not, wrote T.S. Eliot, accord with "the immense panorama of futility and anarchy which is contemporary history. "Modernism thus marks a distinctive break w/ Victorian bourgeois morality; rejecting nineteenth-century optimism, they presented a profoundly pessimistic picture of a culture in disarray. This despair often resuts in an apparent and moral relativism.

In Douglas Adams' "Mostly Harmless", was it the Vogon chief, or the Grebulon leader who "had to start taking positive action"?
One of my kids says the Vogons, the other one says the Grebulons. And I am feeling dumber every time I re-read the last chapters. Maybe the question should be: Am I too dumb for this book?

It was spoken by the girl who played Heidi in the movie. It starts out "Advent, Advent, A little light burns.." As Advent is coming up soon, I would like to teach this poem to my son, but I'm not sure of all of the words and I'm not sure if they said the entire poem in the movie. Any help will be greatly appreciated/

How do I adjust my Photoshop CS colours?! When I create an image on Photoshop CS (on MAC) the colours always appear overly saturated, while when I save it as a .jpg the colour intensity has dropped significantly when viewed in Preview. This is not about RGB and CMYK in Image>Mode. How do I make the colours on photoshop appear the way they do in their final .jpg form?
