I was wondering if anyone did, because I've read the book but I'm not exactly sure what it is.

I'm not exactly certain. The first book isn't my favorite. I like The Eternity Code most. But as for a climax of the first book... Well, I suppose that would be when Briar Cudgeon puts the troll in the mansion. When everything starts to go completely haywire. Holly gets loose, Mulch is sent in, Artemis gets locked in his own control center...
Eoin Colfer is a very skilled writer. I especially like the bits of humor nestled every once in a while, usually from Mulch. I would definitely suggest you read this series.

This is a series of books so there is no ending right now. Read the next two books
