In Douglas Adams' "Mostly Harmless", was it the Vogon chief, or the Grebulon leader who "had to start taking positive action"?
One of my kids says the Vogons, the other one says the Grebulons. And I am feeling dumber every time I re-read the last chapters. Maybe the question should be: Am I too dumb for this book?

I actually don't remember this clearly. However, having looked it up - it was the Grebulon leader who had to start taking positive action.

To be honest, Mostly Harmless is by far my least favourite book in the series - I've read all the first 3 at least 10 times each, but I've only read mostly harmless once.

"Mostly Harmless" is a bit confusing as it involves several different realities. However, it was my understanding that the novel ended with Arthur, Trillian, Ford and Random on the same Earth reality from the beginning of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz presses the demolition beam as he always has.
