Don't listen to your teacher.

Or make on yourselves about the real meaning of Christmas.

Little Women? The story covers Christmas, but it also covers other parts of the year as well.

There is a play, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" that you may be able to do.

"The House without a Christmas Tree" is also o.k. The father could be played by a girl.

"The Gift of the Magi" by O. Henry is good. The two principle players are a man and a woman. A young woman could play the role of the man.

You could write your ow play and incorporate Christmas songs within the play. (Like "Mama Mia")

You could still do a "Christmas Carol" by Dickens. It would be a challenge, but you could do it. Change a few of the characters' names- Instead of Ebenezer Scrooge, it could be Ebbie Scrooge or something like that.

Go for it. You don't have much time!

Christmas Carol works still if you have to just cast some girls in male parts. When my high school did it, all the ghosts were girls, as was Tiny Tim (mostly because she was the smallest kid in the school, but still).

You could reenact the Grinch. The Who's all look like girls anyway.
