Just a hypothetical situation here.

If I were to travel either to the future or the past would there be anything there? I mean I couldn't meet my future/past self because there is only one of me. It would be impossible to meet myself. Or anyone actually cause they would all be in the present. As would the whole world, right? So it seems like there would be nothing there except me.

Does this seem correct or do you think it would be like in the movies where you could go back and visit the younger version of yourself, or go into the future and see how your life turns out? The other seems more likely to me.

I've written a book-length murder mystery and I'm trying to get up the nerve to submit it to literary agents and/or publishing houses. I'd like to go straight to the publishing houses, but I understand that many don't talk to writers without agents or take unsolicited manuscripts. So I was wondering... what kind of cut would an agent be taking?

Also how do most of the publishing houses pay ... a flat fee, a fee plus royalties, royalties only?!?

Any other advice on getting published would be appreciated as well!

I saw this fabric at the fabric attics website just a few days ago.
I would like to have 2 bodypillow covers made.
It is not on their website anymore and they don't reply to my emails, or answer their phone. Anyone know of another place I can attain it.
THANKS

What if the bible was changed?, you have to realize the Bible is made by man not by god. And the Printing Press was developed way past when jesus died. I don't know if im allow to ask this question, my family is Catholic, but im not baptized yet, so that makes me atheist. I truely believe there is god and he has plans for all of us, but im questioning my faith, asking if the Bible is the truth, and we are beliveing the facts.

I have a 9" x 12" painting that I bought VERY cheaply on eBay. I don't want to spend much to frame it. It's on canvasboard & the edges are painted so I'm not even sure if it needs painting.

It doesn't have any type of wire or anything else to hang it with. So what's the easiest and/or best way to hang it?

I reached Level 4 tonight and I feel good about it but I have been pondering some things. I gave up TV awhile ago and I gained so much more time. Then, I became addicted to Yahoo! Answers and all of my extra time was taken away. Maybe not addiction, but a procrastination tool which kept me away from the important things. Now, I am thinking, I need to take a long break or quit entirely and experience life to the fullest instead of sitting in front of a computer screen answering questions. There is a world outside of the computer screen. People to see, work to be done, goals and dreams to be achieved, books to be written, and empires to build. So, what I am trying to say is, how does somebody get the motivation to continually answer and ask questions on a regular or daily basis and not get burnt out and/or not feel life is passing them by? How does one have the endurance to get to Levels 5,6, and the holy grail of level 7 and continue on with no prize or end in sight?

This is a really odd phrase. Apples and oranges have lots of similarities that make comparison of the two both possible and justifiable. They're both somewhat round, they're both fruit, they both grow on trees, etc. Wouldn't this phrase make more sense if the two things compared were indeed completely different?

Being in denial is not accepting the reality of something, but by admitting you are in denial means you accept the reality you are trying to deny to be true, so surely you couldn't be in denial of it...

I suppose it's similiar to not being able to admit that you are insane... if you were, you wouldn't be able to admit it.

I enjoy music from the 40's on up to the mid 80s or so. Every music forum I go to is full of kids with interests in music I've never heard of. Nothing wrong with that, it's just I can't really discuss it. I am looking for people my own age (40-50) with my own musical tastes. Classic rock, blues, big band, jazz, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
